Abstract: In this module, we study a 112.5-Gb/s PAM4 transceiver for long-reach applications for losses as much as 50 dB. We begin with the motivation for this work and describe the architecture. Next, we delve into the transmitter and receiver details. Finally, we examine the measured results for the prototype.
